Leadership
Derek has spent much of his career as a management consultant in a variety of roles related to the implementation of enterprise systems. Before entering the consulting profession he worked 12 years as an Auditor, Controller and then Chief Financial Officer. Leveraging his experience in financial management and strategic planning Derek has provided business analysis and project management to clients in more than 15 industries. Derek has presented on topics related to the management of the analytics function at conferences in Canada and the United States.

Michael brings a unique perspective to data analytics, coming from a background in business focused on Operations Research, Economics, and Management Information Systems. He began his career in management consulting and technology entrepreneurship before developing his skills as a data scientist. His combined acumen in technology, analytics, and business has proven to be valuable to his clients. Michael has led over a dozen projects across various industries and business functions and held various positions, including Chief Data Officer at an Ecommerce company and Instructor at a University Master’s program.
